Uses
1. Surfactant: Dodecylphenol is an important raw material for the production of non-ionic, ionic, and amphoteric surfactants. These surfactants have excellent performance in emulsification, dispersion, and wetting.
2. Antioxidant: In the plastics industry, dodecylphenol is used as an antioxidant, which can slow down or prevent the aging process of materials, thereby extending the service life of plastic products.
3. Lubricating oil additive: Dodecylphenol is also an important component of lubricating oil additives, which can improve the antioxidant performance of oils and reduce carbon deposition.
4. Other applications: In addition, dodecylphenol can also be used to produce alkylphenol-type additives, demulsifiers, metal cleaners, leveling agents, etc., and as a raw material for stabilizers and auxiliaries in the rubber and plastics industries. At the same time, it can also be used to produce rosin-modified phenolic resins and as a promoter in the epoxy field.
Dodecylphenol should be stored in a dry, ventilated place, avoiding direct sunlight, and should be kept sealed. During transportation, ensure that the packaging is intact to prevent leakage.
